31- Creative Ways To Practice Gratitude

Kristin Meekhof & Deepak Chopra

Kristin Meekhof & Deepak Chopra

I am deeply honored to be able to share with you that I co- collaborated with Dr. Deepak Chopra’s wellness website- Jiyo- on this free 31- day gratitude series. Several weeks ago, I sent an email to the Jiyo team stating that I would love to try to create the world’s largest online gratitude journal.

Starting on September 25, 2017, Jiyo will provide a prompt to you of something to be grateful for and we will be celebrating teachers, military, family, friends, authors and even pets. There some very special people who will be sharing their thoughts about gratitude in this series. It was such a joy to write 31 days of content, and I look forward to seeing your own gratitude videos and snaps. With the exception of two videos, I personally curated the videos, so I can tell you without a doubt, you won’t want to miss any of them.

Dear Ones,

I’m so glad it is Spring! I’m spending more time outdoors because I’m training for another half- marathon.

I am indebted to Dr. Julie Silver for her generous invitation. I’m also grateful for the ongoing support from the doctors (who attended the conference), and a handful of us are meeting later this month.

Greetings from Michigan

As some of you know, I wrote a piece about the healing power of gratitude in the new book, “Live Happy: Ten Practices for Choosing Joy” by Deborah Heisz (Harper Elixir, 2016). This month, I also had the pleasure of speaking with Deborah  during a Live Happy podcast. We talked about finding purpose and joy after any loss.

Asha Patel’s Beautiful Designs

Loving kindness is a mantra that describes the care and intent Asha Patel uses when she makes each piece of her jewelry. With each earring, ring, necklace and bracelet Asha creates, in her home, she choses from a variety of materials – gemstones, gold, sterling, vermeil, brass, leather and silk, which allows for an accessibility in pricing options for clients. Each piece carries with it a special message. For example, these earrings represent the “less is more” mantra.
